Sadly there is a financial cost of approximately £7000 a month to running Centre of Hope GLIA, and below are some examples of the costs of some of the aspects of the work:
Approx. 1000 three course meals a month one meal costs about £3.15 (inc labour) = £3150 per month or £37,800/year
Approx. 60 food bags a month average food bag costs about £8.00 = £480 per month or £5,760/year
Approx. 30 gas bottle refills a month during the winter refill costs about £8.00 : winter = £240 per month
Supporting youngsters through our education project = £400 per month and increasing
Help through the Distress Fund towards medicine, electricity, wood etc.
